"The faintest of all human passions is the love of truth..." - A.E. Housman

My username used to be Oogglywoogly however I recently changed it to Chief disambiguator. I chose the old username shortly after I was subbing at a pre-school and it was one of the little kids nicknames for me. It was a spontaneous, thoughtless choice and over the years I found it sort of stupid and immature. I changed it to Chief disambiguator as I find more clever and more in line with Wikipedia. I would also like to thank my friend Brian for influencing this decision.

Fun things to do on WikiProject Golf in 2023-24!

[edit]
  • complete prose for PGA Tour q-school pages
  • finish pages re: Connecticut and MA golf (I have done a lot creating pages for Wampanoag, Shennecossett, Vesper, Brae Burn, Salem, and Hyannisport clubs. Also completed page for CT HoF. Completed first half of Yale bulldogs and CT PGA pages. Still need to complete pages for the Cape & the islands - done with the Cape Cod Open and Farm Neck but still need to do Eastward Ho! and Vineyard Golf Club.)
  • complete eligibility requirements for Players Championship (Pretty much done − will add ER for 1974−1987 later. Will add some money list details for 1990s and 2000s events once PGA Tour website is updated.)
  • create Sunshine Tour seasonal calendars for 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s
  • add defunct tournaments to "Former PGA Tour events" template
  • combine Former tour(s) and Current tour(s) parameters in infobox and include timeline
  • submit WP:NGOLF proposal
  • add Re-instated amateur status line in infobox
