Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Myles Anderson article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 07:44, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

November 2023

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Joe Lynch (footballer), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. GiantSnowman 18:01, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Kelly N'Mai, you may be blocked from editing. Telfordbuck (talk) 23:12, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]
Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for the repeated addition of unsourced content to BLPs, despite warnings. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  GiantSnowman 19:33, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Thought footballwebpages was linked in the external links. No need for this block. Total over reaction and abuse of power.

Decline reason:

You were warned several times, and rather than asking for an explanation you just deleted the warnings. I have no confidence that you won't just do the same thing again, so I am not unblocking you. – bradv 01:47, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Didn’t know I wasn’t allowed to remove from my own page. I wasn’t warned more than once on this particular error. Every other warning I’ve provided a source after it. I’ve admitted that a mistake was made and the edit will be correct once I source it User:GiantSnowman knows this and should know better. I am a not disruptive editor just new to it and trying to get better.

Decline reason:

You are allowed to remove content from your user talk page(with some exceptions, see WP:BLANKING), though it's considered an acknowledgement that it was read; you removed the warnings and continued the behavor, indicating either that you didn't read them or you chose to willfully disregard them. I too am not confident that the behavior will not resume, so I decline to remove the block. 331dot (talk) 08:36, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't start edit warring in MY draft space. GiantSnowman 22:16, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just trying to help out with some glaring mistakes. Jordca97 (talk) 22:23, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's not a 'mistake' though, is it, glaring or otherwise? It was simply some missing stats. If you had put it in your edit summary the first (rather than third) time... GiantSnowman 09:40, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Calm down. It’s only Wikipedia. It is glaring if you can’t see it from the references already provided and you have to be told where it’s from. Fixed now anyway isn’t it :). Jordca97 (talk) 10:19, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Jorge Sikora. GiantSnowman 15:46, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bless Jordca97 (talk) 15:57, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Are you going to source the rest of the Andy Firth stats or not bother? GiantSnowman 17:15, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
All on soccerway. Reference is there just not put them in stat box. You need to stop being so petty. Jordca97 (talk) 17:17, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, you need to adequately source your additions. You have been warned and blocked about this previously. GiantSnowman 18:00, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
But the source is already on the page? Jordca97 (talk) 18:07, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So? Stuff needs citing directly. It is not sufficient to just wave your hands in the air and say 'the reference is somewhere here, honest!'. GiantSnowman 19:03, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well maybe explain that from the start instead of being passive aggressive. I presumed if the source is in there it shouldn’t matter. Jordca97 (talk) 19:10, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

February 2024

[edit]

Since you apparently don't take kindly to warnings, I'm not going to give you one, but I will say that editing cooperatively will go a lot smoother if you don't make unsourced additions and then either expect other people to research if you're right or not, or act arrogant when reverting. Discussing additions instead of providing half the information in a reversion edit reason will also make editing smoother. Kingsif (talk) 20:13, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ibou Touray

[edit]

Your date update to the stats table was incorrect, please be more careful in future. Given he has played tonight, saying the stats were correct 'as of match played 18 March 2024' was wrong. GiantSnowman 21:37, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Was edited before the match. Stop being so petty. Jordca97 (talk) 21:39, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

😂😂 Jordca97 (talk) 10:32, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stats box nonsense

[edit]

We only use 'appearance(s)' if a player has played in the competition in multiple seasons - saying 'appearance(s)' for only 1 season does not make sense, for one season only it would either be 'appearance' or 'appearances'. Does that make sense? GiantSnowman 20:57, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No. Jordca97 (talk) 20:58, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OK, well then respectfully you lack the language skills to be able to edit in this area, and should not be making (incorrect!) edits in relation to grammar. GiantSnowman 21:02, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
😂😂😂😂😂. Bless. Jordca97 (talk) 21:03, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Finlay Sinclair-Smith

[edit]

Hey, just wondering why you undid my revision about Finlay Sinclair-Smith's appearances for Marine? He has definitely played in 5 league games this season. Cfam2001 (talk) 19:46, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
