Liz (Magic School Bus)

Liz is the name of Ms. Frizzle's pet lizard in the Magic School Bus series. There has never been a lizard found like her in the real world, as Liz can not only walk on her hind legs she can do more advanced things like, say, drive the magic bus, herself for instance.

In original books she didn't appear much more than an ordinary lizard, but the cartoon series changed that. In Microsoft's Magic School Bus software, she speaks.
