Improper split

[edit]

Please note that because this is a copy/paste of the text at 2024 CrowdStrike incident#Impact, this draft goes against the best practices described at Wikipedia:Splitting#Procedure.

Without the proper splitting and attribution messages in the edit history, it introduces significant copyright problemss. See: Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Since the "Impact" section of the original article is not that long, there is not a great rationale for splitting this content in the first place. I would highly suggest introducing a discussion at Talk:2024 CrowdStrike incident rather than edit further. - Fuzheado | Talk 18:12, 20 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

FYI, SafariScribe moved this article from draft to main space, and I have reverted it, moving it back to draft over concerns about improper WP:SPLIT and copyright. - Fuzheado | Talk 14:12, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't the remedy just adding filled-in {{copied}} tags on both this talk page and at talk:2024 CrowdStrike incident (and possibly null edits with edit summaries on both subjectpages) -- 65.92.247.96 (talk) 22:24, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
