This engagement as been listed both as the battle of Veracruz and the siege of Veracruz from a number of different sources. I have probably seen it called a siege more often and I do think it is better described as the Siege of Veracruz. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.160.64.49 (talk) 20:22, 22 April 2005 (UTC)[reply]
