Tony Lynn Brackens Jr. was a defensive end in the NFL.

College Years

He played his college football at the University of Texas (Longhorns) where he earned a reputation as a fleet footed hitter.

NFL

He was taken in the second round of the 1996 NFL draft and played his entire professional career with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was released in 2004 after a series of troubling leg injuries and operations. His reputation as a hard hitting defensive end continued. He played through difficult injuries and earned the respect and admiration of his coaches, peers and fans.

Retirement

Brackens is a true cowboy and is enjoying roping and rodeo somewhere in Texas.
