TVN24
TVN 24 is the first and only Polish 24-hour news channel. It's part of Grupa ITI, one of the biggests Polish media holdings. It was launched in August, 2001 but its real popularity started from the September 11, 2001 attacks in the USA which where first major incident to be covered by the new television. It's available in most cable networks and both digital platforms in Poland and in some networks in other countries, including USA and Germany. You can watch it also in the Internet, using live streaming.
TVN 24 team is also responsible for the TVN flagship newscast, Fakty, and for the weather channel TVN Meteo. During major events (most recently: John Paul II death) TVN 24 is transmitted by TVN which has much wider range.
Programmes
TVN 24 broadcasts news bulletins or summaries every half an hour around the clock. Its other most popular programmes include:
