Loyola University

Several colleges and universities carry the name of Loyola, in honor of St. Ignatius of Loyola.

USA

In an agreement struck with the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities in 1996, only Loyola University Chicago retains the legal branding right to call itself Loyola University in the United States of America; others must use appendages to their brands.
