Minnesota RollerGirls

The Minnesota RollerGirls LLC is a 100% all-girl flat-track roller derby league based in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area of Minnesota. The Minnesota RollerGirls LLC was founded by Mary, Molly and Bridget Donnelly on August 31st 2004 and is Minnesota’s first flat-track roller derby league in the state’s history and was among the first 10 flat-track leagues in the nation to hold a bout.

As a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association the Minnesota RollerGirls are currently ranked 5th in the nation by WFTDA.

Every Minnesota RollerGirl is held to the highest standards of sportsmanship, ethics and good will and must adhere to rules set by the league and by WFTDA.

The Minnesota RollerGirls LLC is a volunteer organization and accepts skaters that are at least 21 years old through tryouts. Skaters are not required to pay a monthly fee to skate in the league.

No skater or volunteer associated with the Minnesota RollerGirls is paid, nor do they profit based upon level of involvement or based upon team wins during bouts.

A portion of proceeds raised by the league during bouts, public appearances and fundraisers are contributed to local charities. Other proceeds raised by the league go toward practice space rental, legal and promotional fees, as well as traveling costs to play other WFTDA members in other states and in other countries.

Teams

The Minnesota RollerGirls are comprised of four Home Teams; The Atomic Bombshells, The Dagger Dolls, The Garda Belts, and The Rockits. Currently Each team has a maximum of twenty players.

The Minnesota RollerGirls also have an All-Star InterLeague team comprised of skaters from the four Home Teams. This team competes against other WFTDA and Non-WFTDA leagues across the United States.
