Prior to its release, Redline received many user-written reviews on Internet Movie Database online citing it as a fast-paced story line and action[2]. Redline's opening weekend brought in an estimated box office gross of $4,000,000[3]. It was not screened for critics before it opened, and those who reviewed it after it premiered were mostly very unfavorable. [4]. Redline is currently rated on Rotten Tomatoes.com at 0% [5]

Trivia

  • The cars featured in the movie are all used directly in the scenes shot. [citation needed]
  • When asked to loan an S7 for production, Steve Saleen refused, noting that it was likely that the car would be severely damaged upon its return. Daniel Sadek then wrote out a check to purchase the S7 press car on the spot. Following principle photography, the S7 was delivered to Saleen's Irvine, California facility for $150,000 in repairs. [citation needed]
