The girls team won with a score of 84, beating out second place Summit with 46. All three relays, the 200IM, 200FR, and 400FR relays were won by the CVHS girls, earning the team 14 points for each relay. The boys beat out second place Summit by one point with a final score of 50-49. This was especially incredible because only one of the three relays, worth double points, was scored- the 200FR coming in first. The 200IM did not make it in to finals, and the 400FR was disqualified for an early exchange, but had finished first by a long shot to second place Corvallis, and was close to a school record. The boys, with only one relay for points were still able to pull off a win by winning three individual events and getting second in two, with additional points scored from other team members.[citation needed] No other time in school or OSAA history has one school won two state championships for the same sport (boys and girls) at the same time.[citation needed] Both teams are coached by Rex Watkins and the assistant coach is Lydia Kapsenburg.

The Girls Cross Country team placed third at state in 2006, qualifying two runners for the Nike Border Clash- an accomplishment shared by only one other school.[citation needed] Only one graduating senior was on the team, meaning that in 2007 they should be even better.[original research?] Their coach is Tyler Bushnell, a former championship distance runner for BYU.

The Girls Soccer team earned second place in state in the fall of 2006, losing to Bend in the title game in double overtime.

The Girls Basketball Team placed 5th in state in 2007.

The dance team qualified for both rounds of state in 2007.
