Curly fries
Curly Fries are a kind of french fry famous for their unique spring-like shape. Curly fries are generally made from whole potatoes that are cut using a specialised spiral slicer.
Regular french fries, such as the ones found commonly in McDonald's, are usually straight and yellow in color. Curly Fries are often seasoned with various spices. Examples of spices used are cajun and paprika which also add to the slightly darker colouring of Curly Fries. Additionally the extra flavorings added may contribute to their associated health issues if not consumed in moderation and as part of a balanced diet. Curly fries may retain some of the skin of the potato, whereas regular fries are usually skinless.

Health Issues
Depending on the size of the order and any additional toppings, Curly Fries (which are frequently cooked in partially hydrogenated oil) may have between 300 and 700 calories per serving. Much of the caloric total is derived from fats and oils, making Curly Fries an exceedingly unhealthy food if intake is not moderated. In addition, the sodium content in Curly Fries are generally greater than that of regular fries.
