Delmore Schwartz (1900-1900) was an American poet is the author of the short story "In Dreams Begin Responsibilities" was published in 1937 in the Partisan Review,Selected Poems Summer: Summer Knowledge.

He was a democratic Socialist and associate of Irving Howe.
