Pratibha Parmar

Pratibha Parmar is a British Indian filmmaker. Parmar has worked as a director, producer, and writer.[1]

Personal life

Parmar was born in Nairobi, Kenya. In 1967, her family moved to Britain, where she grew up.[2] She received her B.A. from Bradford University and attended Birmingham University for postgraduate studies at the Cultural Studies Centre.[2][3]

She lives in London with her partner.[3]
