Tiny Dancers are a band from South Elmsall, UK. They are David Kay (vocals, acoustic guitar), Chris 'Ev' Etherington (lead guitar, keyboards), Dez Wathey (bass guitar), Duncan 'Zed' Morrison (drums) and Glover (keyboards, glockenspiel, percussion, guitar, noise creation). They all grew up in South Kirkby, South Elmsall and Brierley, three small former pit villages in the West Yorkshire countryside. Based in Sheffield, they have toured almost constantly since signing to Parlophone in early 2006 - supporting acts as diverse as The Spinto Band, Richard Ashcroft, Larrikin Love and Bob Dylan. Their rootsy, country tinged sound is drawing early comparisons with heroes The Band and has seen them filed separately from the rest of the 'New Yorkshire' scene.

They are becoming renowned for their energetic live shows, where frontman David Kay regularly showers the front row with glitter and produces bags of balloons while dressed in colourful ponchos.

Their debut album, entitled Free School Milk, produced by John Leckie of the Stone Roses fame, was released on June 11th 2007.
