Skate video
A skate video is a video that features a montage of footage of skateboarding tricks, usually set to a soundtrack. Skate videos were one of the ways new tricks are disseminated among skateboarders during the 1980s and 1990s. These videos are an important part of skateboarding culture, and helped the sport in its second climb to popularity. Groups such as CKY, and The Skate Rippers got their start producing skate videos.
