Scott Fivelson is a screenwriter, fiction writer, and songwriter from Los Angeles. Scott Fivelson was born in Chicago. Fresh out of Northwestern University, he wrote a satirical tribute to Spielberg, Guess What’s Coming to Dinner? The Extraterrestrial Etiquette Guide, from Bantam Books. He has also written short stories and satirical pieces for Chicago Magazine, the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, the L.A. Weekly, Tales from the Heart of Hollywood, and other publications.
As a screenwriter, his most recent film is American Reel, starring David Carradine, Mariel Hemingway, and the distinguished British actor Michael Maloney (Truly, Madly, Deeply, Kenneth Branagh’s Hamlet).
