Request a coach :: Coaching volunteers :: Update your status
Thank you for your interest in admin coaching. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long! We're in the process of re-organising at the moment and are starting a new system of requests.
New requests should be entered in the following syntax to the bottom of the list:
- #{{user|USERNAME}} ~~~~
Coaches: If you wish, you may contact a user at or near the top of the list, without going through the coordinator. Leave a message at that person's name here, indicating you have contacted that person. If you are coaching him/her, remove that name from this list, then update your status.
Current requestors: Some of these requests are quite old, and we need to know if you are still interested. If you are, copy/paste --''still interested as of ~~~~'' after your name.

- I hope to become an admin someday... I have been on Wikipedia a while but have only gotten more serious the past couple weeks... ~ clearthought 13:32, 12 July 2006 (UTC) -- Desires coaching end of Dec or Jan '07 [1]; Firsfron inquired, no response, 12/31 [2]
- I started this a while back and I had to back out because of my job, but I have "finshed" my question on here from D-Day. Old "settings" here. Anyway.. that's about it. -- Shane (talk/contrib) 22:23, 15 July 2006 (UTC) -- interested in coaching at a future date
- I AM READY TO BE ALL I CAN BE SIR!! I have a lot of time and love Wikipedia. I am going for adminship at the horizon, and want to do as much as possible. Been waiting since the program has started. Also looking for a co-coach for admin coaching others. [Mac Δαvιs] ❖ 03:49, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

- I'm not looking forward to be an Admin, till the time comes. I still feel, I lack knowledge on lot many things in Wikipedia. I'm willing to learn, if only someone is there to help. Call me when my number comes. If it is long, who knows, I may even hop on to the other side of the table, if I feel better of my capabilities. Cheers. -- Chez (Discuss / Email) • 07:45, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- I would really like some help on how to help this great encyclopedia. Abeg92 03:16, 6 November 2006 (UTC) Still interested. Abeg92contribs 18:49, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- I've been going around Wikipedia for over a year, and I would also like to become an administrator eventually. I have mostly been working on anti-vandalism work, as well as helping out with various WikiProjects. While I still think anti-vandalism is an important effort, I'm beginning to help write more articles and cleanup the backlog, and I'd appreciate if any admins could guide me on the road towards an RfA. Thanks! –- kungming·2 (Talk) 22:22, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
- Hello, I have been with Wikipedia for quite some time now (nearing one year), but I'm still unsure about how Wikipedia works. I have not corrected any vandalism or reverted any pages (didn't come across them yet), and I don't know what I should do if I were to see them. That, and some other things. I have only about 268 edits, but I'm currently working on a few pages now. I am hoping to get my turn soon, but I can wait. Well, bye for now! Incidentally, what's citing? (Hope I am specific enough) Zacharycrimsonwolf 13:14, 14 November 2006 (UTC) 13:57, 30 November 2006 (UTC) -- "I am still interested, can wait just as long as I get a coach before 2008"
- Yes please! I aim to serve Wikipedia as an admin in early 2007, but I am eager to improve myself to my full capabilities first. Any suggestions are encouraged and welcome. Cheers! Yuser31415 00:25, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

- In truth I do not strongly desire to be an admin -- I hope that does not disqualify me from this -- but I certainly want a deeper understanding of wikipedia policies and their specific applications, and I think a more experienced user can help a lot with that. I have only edited Falun Gong articles, which are a complete mess at this stage, but I really need a deeper understanding of wikipolicies and what it takes to make FAs.--Asdfg12345 22:25, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- Bože pravde (talk · contribs) Being an admin is something I considered a long time ago, but gave the idea up because I thought that I could contribute more by just writing and editing articles. - Wykypydya (talk · contribs) I would like to learn to become an administrator to help improve the encyclopedia and help regulate it. I am quite flexible, am a liberal editor, and care about furthering fair procedure, practices, and guidelines rather than being authoritarian or imposing my beliefs on others. I am usually an inclusionist, yet I am conscientious (and admittedly nitpicky) about the need for templates, especially verification-related and disclaimer templates, to protect articles' and text's credibility. Also, I have good technical skills, and might write a bot or two in the future if I can find a good idea. Being an admin would allow me to benefit Wikipedia in these ways. How do I get coaching? Is this some sort of interactive session, or back-and-forth communication on talk pages? --Wykypydya 03:42, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
