Mýa is the self titled debut album released by American R&B singer Mýa on April 21, 1998 on Interscope Records. (1998 in music) The album spawned three top 10 singles "It's All About Me", "Movin' On", and "My First Night With You". "It's All About Me" and "My First Night With You" reached gold status. The album went on to go platinum in less than six months and became one the best selling albums of 1998. The spotlight continued to shine on Mya when "Ghetto Supastar" became a huge hit, as did "Take Me There". To date Mya's self titled album has sold 1.4 million copies in the US.
