Availability of literature in Filipino outside of the Philippines

Although almost every medium to large city in the World has at least one Filipino store, these stores do not stock any form of Filipino literature beyond small romance novels ("pocket books"), and occasionally cookery books. Filipino celebrity magazines are also commonly available, but are written in mostly-English, as is the Philippine edition of FHM magazine.

Outside of the Philippines, literature in Filipino is only stocked by specialist foreign language bookshops such as Schoenhofs in Boston and one Asian bookshop in Tokyo.
