Years and numerals/digits
Dear Docu -
Please comment on my years and dates proposal, affecting years that are also numerals. +sj + 20:46, 12 May 2005 (UTC)
Years by month categories
Do you really think Category:2001 by month is the way to go? It seems to me that that approach just makes the year categories even harder to use. Would any articles/categories go in there other than the individual month articles? - dcljr 04:11, 14 May 2005 (UTC)
- No, it would just be limited to twelve articles. Reducing the number of articles in the year category.
- In the meantime, the favored solution seems to be add a sortkey to the articles and add them under "*" in Category:2001. So if you want to change it, I won't mind. I'd even delete the categories afterwards. -- User:Docu
- I think I'd prefer to do that (change it back, I mean). - dcljr 06:08, 15 May 2005 (UTC)
- Backwards or forward? -- User:Docu
- Back to the "favored solution" before you created Category:2001 by month (then delete that category). Did you create any other similar year-by-month categories? - dcljr 06:28, 16 May 2005 (UTC)
- Ok then, forward to the favored solution. No, but I recently came across List of months by year: 2000-2005 which should help you checking if they are consistently categorized. Possibly all pages should go into a common category as well (Category:Year by month?). -- User:Docu
