The tallest building in Dubai is the Template:Unit m Emirates Office Tower that was completed in 2000. Since 1999 and especially from 2005 onwards, Dubai has been on an epic skyscraper and supertall building boom with all 17 of its 200+ meter (656+ feet) buildings completed after 1999. Many of the city's buildings are located near Sheikh Zayed Road and the Dubai Marina to the west.
