Vitla in local language Tulu or most often written as Vittal in English is a village in Bantwal taluk of Dakshina Kannada district .The horticulture is main occupation of the people in and around Vitla village. Arecanut,cocoa,pepper and coconut are grown here.Vitla is an assembly consituency of Karantaka Legislature Assembly.
