Wikipedia:WikiProject Richard Wagner/List of article-worthy Wagner singers
This is a Wagner Project subpage. As such it is not designed for publication as a WP page - at least not yet. Nor is it designed . . .
The intention is to list notable Wagner singers worth of their own articles on Wikipedia, to identfy those who has been covered and those who hasn't. Defining a 'Wagner singer' isn't easy but perhaps we can include singers who undertook at least three major Wagner roles. (Singers like Victoria de Los Angeles or Elisabeth Schumann who only sang one role are not included).
The periods originate from the Record of Singing and may not be particularly useful here. It may be preferable to turn this into a alphabetical list eventually after each period is represented. (Each singer is listed only once even when they were active across periods.)
