Welcome to my Talk Page!
  • I normally will respond on your own talk page, not here. I don't want to deprive you of the pleasure of watching a beautiful orange bar cheering your sight up :)
  • I usually archive discussions when this page exceeds 40 topics. Of course, at some moments of lazyness, this page may contain way more than that. But please, don't panic - I'm too good at that without your help!
  • Needless to say, I have one golden rule I like to be observed at my Talk page: be nice, be nice, and after that, be nice. If after reading this, you still feel the urge to squeeze my neck for any reason, please visit this page, take a deep breath, and come back - I'll be waiting here! :)
  • You may of course post here regarding admin-related matters or requests for administrative help. Such messages have my absolute priority when replying. In extremely urgent cases, you may also wish to email me here. I'll address your concerns as fast as my human capacities permit.
  • Sometimes it may take me long to reply to you, but I invariably will try. If a few days pass without reply, please forgive me - I'll get back to you as soon as I possibly can, I swear!
Current state of mind is...

Wishing you well!

Magnus and Cremepuff222 would like to extend the best of luck and wishes to Phaedriel and her daughter. « ANIMUM » 00:58, 21 June 2007 (UTC) *Cremepuff222* 01:02, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! It was actually Cremepuff222's idea (as to not steal the credit) on IRC, but of course I wanted to be a part of the initiative. You are the master of wikilove. See ya, « ANIMUM » 14:06, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I do have one request though: can you please lower the semi-protection to my user page? You were the protecting administrator, and I thought you'd want to be the one to remove the semi-protection. I don't believe my user page requires semi-protection anymore. Can you please remove it, as well as the semi-protection tag? Thank you. Acalamari 18:27, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Don't be silly.

Don't be silly - with a sick child, I obviously do not expect you to be taking any time working at a silly thing like a userpage design. Take your time, and take care of your family. Obviously, that's most important. Truly, let me know if there's anything I can do. - Philippe | Talk 17:32, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sharon. Philippe is right. Please take more care of your daughter, yourself and your family - other things can surely wait including the exchanges of emails and sharing of thoughts. I would also like to add that you always brighten and lighten not only my talk page but my feelings too. And, the God shall continue to brighten and lighten your life! --Bhadani (talk) 18:29, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for being so understanding, guys. The truth is, I've been so scared and worried these last days, and I still am to a certain degree, that now that I'm a little more calm I'm trying to resume editing slowly to keep my head occupied. My mind needs a little rest, just because right now there's nothing I can do but to follow the doctors' instructions and wait, just wait. Realizing how much you've all done for me with your kind thoughts and prayers, it is both my moral duty and a much needed distraction to thank you and talk to you, just like one talks to dear friends when you're going through bad times. Once again, thank you - I owe all of you more than you may imagine. Love, Phaedriel - 20:33, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I think you misunderstood my purpose on 3RR. I don't think he needs a block; I think he needs a warning from someone he'll listen to. For three reasons: 1) blanking isn't appropriate except in the case of trolling, even on his User Talk page, even if said blanking doesn't result in a 3RR vio, 2) reporting someone on AIV and getting them blocked because they're leaving you warnings isn't appropriate, and 3) calling someone a troll in an edit summary doesn't WP:AGF. I can't tell him any of this, though, because my comments are getting shot on sight. Could you have a word with him, please and thank you? 24.160.241.190 17:54, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Advice!

Hey, I've seen your name around a few of my wiki-buddies pages (where the heck is The Ungovernable Force?), as well as the Indigenous...WikiProject, so figured you'd be a good person to ask for advice/help on an article I'm writing. It's about the Yavapai people of central Arizona, and so far is confined to my sandbox. I'm trying to be very cautious about terminology, and POV, but it's tough flushing out what I've bee taught all my life. Erg! Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers! Hi Phaedriel, could you please send me a talk page message? I'm trying out a new colour for my message bar, but I won't know how it turns out until I get a message. Thanks! :) Kyoko 21:46, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Now I get a bar in the same colour as the background of my page (the colour in which the lilac/slightly pinkish) boxes are floating), but there's an orange border that makes it clash. You're welcome to tweak my monobook.css if you want. See you later, love you! --Kyoko 21:57, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, with Riana's help, I think I've made a pleasing message bar, so you don't need to do anymore tweaking. Thanks for your test message! :) --Kyoko 22:39, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the comment. I've been under quite a lot of wikistress as well; I just found out the WP mailing list is a jokefest, and am worried that Wikipedia is not far enough in its development to accept a rewrite I'm working on. — Deckiller 22:32, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much :) The people themselves who debate on the mailing list aren't necessary silly, but the whole scenerio is. Basically, they are arguing about things mentioned in the rewrite that they didn't bother to read, or they are making ridiculous conclusions about a minor defensive point I made (such as someone translating "helping the newcomers understand our procedures clearly" as "newbiephobia"). I don't want to start World War I, but if you are interested in the issue, feel free to comment. There also could have been some misinterpretation, especially since AOL e-mails get messed up on the Wiki mailing list. — Deckiller 23:14, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks :)

I have not your way with words, so I'll just leave you these:

Glad to see you back! :) Riana (talk) 00:54, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I told you I'd "pick" you some, and I got many on my walk through the redwoods and up the coastal cliffs, but haven't had time to process them. However, this one reminded me of you and your daughter, so one each for you two! Your message and the poem on my talk was a joy...and you're right, you won't feel relaxed until it is all over. Give your girl a hug, and remember to treasure every moment with her...you won't believe how fast the time will come when she's turning 16. My youngest is doing that tomorrow, and I'm missing her terribly, as she's half a planet away in Siberia, Russia...but is coming home Saturday...5 days to go!! Ummm... Stealing content

Hi. I've always admired your Userpage design. I've been thinking of asking you to design me one for ages, but... I guess not. I'm flicking your design. :) Will acknowledge it; just thought I'd let you know. aJCfreak yAk 14:01, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

C'est finit! The job is done. You may check it out. Please let me know if I shouldn't have done it or somethin like that... aJCfreak yAk 16:15, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've enhanced it?! That's news to me. Seriously, the design was so intricate that I was breaking my head over it for a coupla hours or so. (Not very good at coding at all) Anyways, glad you like it. Doubly glad that you're allowing it. I'll try working on the residence timeline thingy to try and squish it to a narrower width. I work on a 17" hi-res monitor and so I never noticed it. Ah, that reminds me... Any idea why the page doesn't display the curves in IE? I noticed it when my friend checked out the page but all she saw was plain ol' rectangular boxes... I then checked the page in IE on my PC and same thing happens. Is there some code that could be written so that it's curvy in IE too? :D
And about the thingy that you're looking into, please take your time. It's a pretty minor issue; I'm sure there's tonnes of other stuff to sift and sort through first. Rest assured, I can wait. I'm working on other articles in the meanwhile. Btw, I don't think I ever acknowledged it, but I was sorry bout your kid and am glad that you're back. (Although, I do feel that the break was as necessary for the mother as well as the child!) Cheerio! aJCfreak yAk 09:28, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What's IE? Well, it's a browser used by a clear majority of gents in this part of the world. I use Firefox; 've always wanted to - then switched to it when I started Wiki-ing. So anyways, since IE is the browser used by a majority here, I still talk about it. :) aJCfreak yAk 09:42, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot. I'm sure you've been told this before, but you've a way to get people smiling. You're a blessed soul and a blessing to souls all around. (Mebbe Wikilove should be renamed?!) Thanks! aJCfreak yAk 09:51, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. I'm afraid I've also decided to borrow your userpage design. Unfortunately, I'm not as good with designing userpages as User:Ajcfreak, so I wasn't really able to change it much. Please take a look at it when you have the time and tell me how I can improve it. It can be found at User:Boricuaeddie/Test. Thank you. Yours sincerely, Eddie 18:24, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there

Hi!

We've not bumped into each other anytime on WP, but I just wanted to say out of all the editors I've seen(/met) here, you're one of the truly nice ones. Your pink user page also reminds me a lot of my younger sister's room, just guessing from the colours, you two would get along very well :P

Anyhow, I just came by to say I lifted one line from your user page (Discourtesy is - unspeakably ugly to me.) to use on my user talk. I hope you don't mind. In fact, after seeing your userpage and talk, I altered the entire template (Template:Usertalksuper) just to make it sound nicer than what it originally was, and I'd like to thank you for giving me that idea.

Apologies if this all sounds a bit random, I just thought I'd drop by to say thanks. Looking forward to working with you on some article some day,

Happy editing,xC | 07:42, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About my userpage, I'd be more than happy if you'd have a look - I'd be overjoyed! I've seen the work you've done with so many other userpages... unbelievable coding...on my part, just trying to figure out how to get those little drop down boxes' colours right turned me nutty :P I know your busy, whenever you're free, its no priority... :)
Thank you so much for the rose (my first picture message!),

Got it. Thanks. :) Acalamari 17:57, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hve you heard it?

Haggawaga - Oegawagga's userpage has been removed, his talk page protected and his account blcked indefinetly, after all the hard work he has done. The real sockpuppeteer, probably Kermanshahi, still edits here unpunished. Where did justice went? That blocked user had loads of good contributions! He has helped much people, such as Shervink, Ezza, and some more. And can you please re-add his user-page? Randalph P. Williams 11:18, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'll get back to you later

Hi Phaedriel, I got your e-mail (thanks!) but I'm very busy right now, so please understand if there is a delay in my reply, I'll get back to you when I can, OK? Love you, Kyoko 14:14, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Really?!

Okay... If we were having a group of Wiki-Gods and Goddesses, then I guess she'd be a speed Goddess or somethin and you could be the Goddess of kindness and appreciation. :) Thanks a lot. aJCfreak yAk 16:18, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A Concern...

First and foremost, Welcome Back! Glad to see you back and hope all is well.

Second, I am having a bit of trouble. I added "The town of Stephensburgh, Virginia was chartered and founded. Stephensburgh is known today as Stephens City." to September 1 only to have it deleted as "utterly unimportant" and later "nothing significant".

User:Calton (who I have stayed away from) is deleting entries that, yes, don't belong, but is also deleting entries like "2006 - Austria hands over Presidency of the European Union to Finland." as "nothing special". Nothing special? Austria hands over presidency of the EU to Finland....the EU, a major power in Europe, that is important and should be listed, as should the charter and founding of a town.

I understand that entries like "1982 - Quin!!, Video Game Player" should be deleted, but I think User:Calton is letting his point of view and his opinions cloud his judgement when he is deleting some of these entries. If you could please ask him to limit his POV and be more neutral on his edits, I would greatly appericate it. Thanks....NeutralHomer T:C 17:57, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Help!

Sorry to bug you, but User:Custerwest has not only surpassed the 3RR violation with a fourth, but deleted my report/request for admin help regarding the violation. I don't really know what to do about it now, but this user is really causing problems, and needs warnings from someone other than regular editors. Thanks for whatever you can do. Aww, shucks. Thanks Shannon! -Yancyfry

Nice surprise

Thank you Sharon! That was very sweet, and completely unexpected; most of the time (it seems) when that "new messages" thing lights up it's another troll. You made my day!  :) Antandrus (talk) 03:08, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!

... for the block on user:Lciecat. Cheers!! Flyguy649talkcontribs 06:25, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Autoblocking

I see in the block log that you blocked a user for a bad username instating the autoblock, you then unblocked them to reblock them in attempt to get rid of an autoblock. Could you please notify, doing that does NOT rid of the autoblock, as it hits the underlying IP, and once it is there it can only be removed if the user states an "Unblock auto" request. If not, the Ip is kept blocked for 24 hours. Just to inform you. Francisco Tevez 12:11, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Google Talk, if you're not sleepy?

I owe you those pictures of kittens I promised. Will (talk) 12:54, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Phaedriel, if you are not too busy WP:CSD is getting out of control.--Anthony.bradbury"talk" 20:13, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
