Kathleen Beedles is the current Series Producer of British television soap opera Emmerdale. She took over from Steve Frost during 2005. Kathleen was producer and series editor for the ITV soap before becoming series producer. Kathleen also worked on Coronation Street as a story associate from 1999-2002 before joining Emmerdale.

At the beginning of 2007, ITV announced that Kathleen would be leaving the Yorkshire soap at the end of the year. Kathleen was quoted as saying, "I've done six years, and I want to do seven".

Since becoming series producer in 2005, Kathleen has been responsible for many exciting storylines, namely Kings River Showhome Explosion that killed three people and the Tom King kidnap plot. She was also the brainchild for the biggest storyline in Emmerdale history, Who Killed Tom King?
