List of Family Guy episodes
The following is a list of episodes for the FOX animated television series Family Guy. The show premiered on January 31, 1999 and originally ended on February 14, 2002. After the overwhelming success of DVD sales and cable ratings on Adult Swim, FOX decided to revive the program, and it began airing again on May 1, 2005.
A direct to DVD movie, Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, was released on September 27, 2005 (Region 1), October 1, 2005 (Region 4) and October 24, 2005 (Region 2). It was later re-edited for television and aired as three episodes: Stewie B. Goode, Bango Was His Name Oh!, and Stu and Stewie's Excellent Adventure.

Season 4: 2005-2006
Season 4 was split into various segments so that FOX would not waste new episodes when television audiences were low. FOX showed an initial run of ten episodes starting in May, then after a brief hiatus episodes restarted on September 11, 2005.
