Overview
Duels is a free Player vs. Player (PVP) Strategy Game that can be played from a web browser. The game uses both Flash and Ajax. The player's avatar fights other player controlled avatars to gain experience points. It may be customized with new armor and weapons. One player will issue a challenge to another player. If that player accepts the challenge the avatars fight it out in real time, but without player interaction. As such, the player does not need to be logged in to be engaged in battle.

Advancement
At level 5, characters can choose follow either the Path of the Sword of the Path of the Staff. At level 20, Path of the Sword character can choose between Warrior and Assassin, while Path of the Staff characters choose between Mage and Druid.
Types of duels
- Challenge - This ranked match counts towards your record and gives more experience / better rewards.
- Skirmish - This unranked match does not count towards your record and gives less experience.
Developers
Duels is the first game developed by the newly created Oxygen Games.
Launch Problems
Due to articles featured on TechCrunch and Digg, the game experienced more network traffic than its servers could handle at launch. Oxygen Games is currently taking steps to increase performance but the game still suffers from frequent down-time.
