The Akhal-Tekes Horse Breed has been introduced to the Insterburg area of Eastern Prussia by a group of people living in todays Cherniahovsk,Oblast Kaliningrad. These beautiful "golden-horses' are adapted to severe climate conditions and are some of the oldest surviving horses.
