About the Bo-bobo Plot Project

I was speaking with some people on the discussion page for Plot of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo about what I've been adding and apparantly they don't like the over-detailed work I've been doing. Unfortunately, they think its detailed enough for "copyright violation"...but if I condense it, it will end up as "Bo-bobo fights villain, weird stuff happens, Bo-bobo wins". (when you parody every other shonen, you don't have too much use for plot) I'm thinking maybe of doing it the One Piece way (as seen here, in doing a tiny brief on each fight and arc, but who knows if that will satisfy the management. -StrangerAtaru 11:34, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Maybe they're not true Bobobo fans. And what copyright!? You did write all of that from scratch so what do they know. [User:Kid Sonic|Kid Sonic]]
  • Well we're at another crossroads: I'm taking about this in the discussion page for the Plot page, but I think we may be deleted. While it would be great to have a plot page, the truth has to be admitted: either Bo-bobo gets no respect or its just too simple in nature for people to want to know what happens. The details liven the series, but apparently that's a no-go due to copyright infrigement. My only other option is to just open a Bo-bobo webpage, but I have too much on my plate and I'm too lazy for website maintenance. But hey, at least we have the other pages. -StrangerAtaru 21:50, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Bo-bobo Plot

My contributions are public, check every edit I had done to see if I had contacted A Man In Black about this matter. And believe me, I have things more important to do than plotting an article deletion about a series I know nothing, nor really care about. The only public thing about the article I did was leaving a comment at WP:WAF to find feedback, and I left a comment in the plot's talk page about that. Had you known AMIB more, you would know he is the kind of guy to do these kind of things. I advice you to cool down, because your assumptions are wrong. Regards. -- ReyBrujo 02:39, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is Wikipedia. Welcome to freedom. -- ReyBrujo 17:28, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kid: Which version do you want, the earlier super-detailed version or the more consise one that's about to be deleted? The earlier one can probably still pulled up if you look through the page history...and I would probably have to start from the Nenchaku fight. But if you want the less detailed version, then I'll give it to you from where I stopped on the page, which would be the start of the Combat Blues fight. -StrangerAtaru 14:44, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So everything post-Menma, you got it. Need to find time to do it. -StrangerAtaru 23:45, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you decide to stay! I noticed that you're already editing talk pages to discuss things with other wikipedians, and wanted to give you a hint: I see that you're signing your posts using your username, but not a timestamp. Timestamps, such as 00:00, 1 March 2007 (UTC), are easy to use and make it easier for others to tell when you've said something. To use a timestamp, just type ~~~~~ after your signature, or type ST47Talk 00:00, 1 March 2007 (UTC) to use both a timestamp and a signature, as I do. For more information on customizing your signature, please read WP:SIG. ST47Talk 00:00, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Jellybobo.PNG. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Those giant lists

OK, now do you have an actual reason for bringing those monstrosities back? This isn't dumping ground for fans. As I said to SP, I would suggest you goto Wikia, and either start a Bo^7 wiki, or find a relevant one. Nemu 16:39, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • KidSonic: I warned you from the beginning that all of that was not going to fly on the page. Furthermore, you deleted some information that I put up to provide something substantial. To tell the truth, we don't need to know every single form and appearance the Bo-bobo characters take: it takes away from the series and gets way too trivial. -StrangerAtaru 16:45, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As I explained up there, this is not a place for fans. Follow SA's example and actually add something meaningful to the pages. And to answer your question, yes, I am a fan of the series. It's quite enjoyable, but that doesn't really have any sort of impact here. Nemu 01:41, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you see this page? Do you see those sections? Those are what you want to add. You are currently readding crap. I don't care if "people worked hard" on those sections; they're junk. You really need to read some of the policies of this site (WP:NOT#IINFO for one), and learn that this place isn't for the fans. Nemu 01:51, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bobobo Wiki

That would be an AWSOME idea, but what do I know about making Wiki's, I'm only 11, but I'll do what I can (my friend D.J.'s uppset because of the Bobobo lackage and a Youtuber Ickis is the ultimate Japanese Bobobo fan). SoundPound500000 Tuesday April 17, 2007 4:50 in Montgomery.

  • I was debating creating a Bo-bobo Wiki, but sort of wondered what it would be like since a lot of the Bo-bobo matters in that world is rather trivial and pointless. But you do realize we would have to create a particular format to get the whole page right...we can't just put down every tiny trivial thing for this. Heck, I even had a name for this page: Wigginpedia! -StrangerAtaru 22:45, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • The problem about triviality is that a lot of what we put was, believe it or not, trivial. Do we really need to know every single transformation and form that Bo-bobo, Don Patch and Tennosuke take? If we could create a seperate page on the Wiki (the Bo-bobo one) that shows these forms, it would make much more sense than to put it down on the same page as a character description. -StrangerAtaru 13:23, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Nine out of the ten attacks used by Bo-bobo and the others never appear again. That's probably one of the trademarks of Wiggins: you can never perform the same attack twice. Sadly, that makes it harder for video-game makers who need a limited number of attacks in order to define a character...making it easier for minor characters than the majors. Probably one of the only attacks I know Bo-bobo uses twice is the piledriver nosehair one he first uses against Killalino and then uses again at the end of the battle against OVER...but that's one of the rare repeats. -StrangerAtaru 02:28, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Quick addition: I think that the few characters who do have repeating attacks are more martial-arts styled ones, like Softon's main "Babylon Fist" attacks and Hanpen's techniques. -StrangerAtaru 02:30, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Let me repeat what I said earlier: most of those attacks don't matter. The best thing for a character article would be a description of attack styles and how they attack instead of every single attack they can do. I did one for the Don Patch article after all the crap that's going on there...I wanted to do it with Jelly Jiggler, but someone removed it because "it wasn't sourced". -StrangerAtaru 22:03, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Isn't it a bit too much to list every single Simpsons couch gag? (well I think so...besides, there are Simpsons web sites people could get that from instead of leeching it from Wiki...but that's me) Maybe on our own Wiki it would make sense but I still say this: if you want to talk about Bo-bobo's attack styles, the main things you would talk about are his Hanage Shinken, his Wiggin styles and how both work and tie together. As for the Don Patch pic...what episode is that from!? There is nothing like that in the manga...not to mention that you really can't take too much of anything a Wiggin says seriously...unless its true. -StrangerAtaru 01:31, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • When I said "trivial attacks", I meant every last Wiggin and Nosehair attacks that Bo-bobo and the others perform. Trivia can be a good thing but that's not what I was referring to. -StrangerAtaru 11:49, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

heavy vandalism through this range (most of its traffic) Your IP address is 209.244.43.61, and your block has been set to expire: 23:46, 9 November 2007. --Kid Sonic 02:51, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • That's all I needed. You were caught by a "range block", likely because your neighbors or people using the same ISP were causing lots of vandalism. You should be unblocked now. —dgiestc 04:08, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • A very high amount of sockpuppets and vandalism came through this range, the vast majority of all edits. I must have missed you when I did a range query. I'll have to leave it at "anon-only" and keep an eye out if the sockpuppets come back. Voice-of-All 04:27, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your reversion. Please see the talk page for the reason why some articles still have galleries and some don't. Orphaned non-free image (Image:Fist of the Ancients.PNG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Fist of the Ancients.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Fair use rationale for Image:Jellybobo.PNG

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Jellybobo.PNG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 18:30, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Gump.PNG

Thanks for uploading Image:Gump.PNG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Bo-bobo Theater

Can't really help you with that I admit. That was an anime-only thing and its hard to really say. All I do know is that it was a means in the anime to display some of the more "unconnected scenes" which have nothing to do with the plot but does have something to do either with whatever is going on or something that happened to one of the characters. It was more prominent during the early part of the anime when there was more "randomness", but dissapeared over time. -StrangerAtaru 17:49, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 23:23, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Wall Man2.PNG

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
