Kiely Williams

Kiely Alexis Williams (born July 9, 1986 in Alexandria, Virginia) is an American actress and singer most notable for singing in the girl groups 3LW (3 Little Women) and The Cheetah Girls.

Williams is best known as a member of the group 3LW. Besides her work as a recording artist, she also starred in Hannah, Sabrina, N' Eddy and The Cheetah Girls with 3LW member Adrienne Bailon. The Cheetah Girls also includes Sabrina Bryan and Raven-Symoné. Following the success of The Cheetah Girls and its multi-platinum soundtrack, Williams, along with fellow stars of the film Adrienne Bailon and Sabrina Bryan created The Cheetah Girls as an actual singing group and began touring the US. The Cheetah Girls released their holiday album in October 2005 entitled Cheetah-Licious Christmas. The girls are currently putting the finishing touches on their new studio album, TCG, due to be released on September 25, 2007.

Presently, the group have been unactive as 3LW since 2006 and many fans speculate the group have disbanded. This is due to their album receiving no current release date, no single confirmed and Adrienne's announcement of her own up and coming solo projects including a solo album. In July 2007, after a long period of waiting for the group, the groups most popular fansite and forum 3LWFANS.net was forced into closure. Another reason for the speculation about the split of 3LW is their involvement with the Cheetah Girls. The Cheetah Girls are well established and generate more money than 3LW who have been away from the scene for so long that many feel their comeback would in fact be a second introduction. Therefore both Adrienne and Kiely are suspected to have opted to take the safe route and chosen to stick with the Cheetah Girls rather than make a long awaited return to 3LW."Point Of No Return" Put On Hold & Kiely speaks 3LW confirmed to put a hold on "Point of No Return" while they tour off with The Cheetah Girls, and the release date has not been scheduled. We been in the studio for awhile now making tracks to our cd, & Adreienne and I are touring and making our last movie with The Cheetah Girls, & that's all I'm gonna say I can't give out anymore information it's a secret..."

Personal Life

Kiely has lived with 3LW and The Cheetah Girls bandmate Adrienne Bailon, for eight years now. She has also mentioned in an interview with the Disney Channel, that: "I love living with Adrienne, she's my cheetah sista! Though, I still visit my Mom just as much!" She has also stated that her Mom is a singer-songwriter.
