CJMQ-FM

CJMQ is the Community Radio station of The Eastern Townships in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. It can be heard at 88.9 FM as well as through the Videotron and Cogeco cable systems at 103.9 and 104.7 respectively. Listeners can also hear it broadcast via the internet.

CJMQ 88.9 FM is licensed by the CRTC as a Category A, Community Radio Station, and as such is uniquely mandated to serve the English Community of the Eastern Townships of Quebec Canada. CJMQ is the only locally produced English Language Broadcaster in the Eastern Townships.

CJMQ is now transmitting at 2000 watts, there are 225,000 people in the broadcast zone of CJMQ, it is estimated that CJMQ has approximately 30,000 listeners.

CJMQ has a broadcast booth in downtown Sherbrooke as well as a booth on the campus of Bishop's University, with plans to open a third booth in the region.
