Bruce Hyman
Bruce Anthony Hyman is a radio and TV producer and also a barrister. At Above the Title Productions Hyman produced three new radio series of Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in 2003 and 2004, with Helen Chattwell and Dirk Maggs.[1][2] He also acted as Executive Producer of the BBC Radio 4 programme presented by Clive Anderson called Unreliable Evidence until 2006. Hyman has has written scripts for Johnny Vegas, Angus Deayton.[3] It was recently announced that he may be producing an adaptation of a Douglas Adams novel for radio with Harry Enfield.[4]
On Monday 6 Aug 2007 Hyman was convicted of perverting the course of justice[5][6][7][8][9][10][11] by faking an Appeal Court judgment used in a family court hearing[12]. Matters were adjourned for sentence, the judge stating that he may face a term of imprisonment. Hyman's client has explained that she played no part in Hyman's crime[13].
