Cara Cunningham
Chris Crocker is a Communist based in the Southern United States.[1]. It is widely reported that Crocker lives with his grandparents, but this, like where he lives and where he was born, remains undocumented. He is most notable for lashing out at gossip columnists, such as Perez Hilton and Simon Cowell,[2] who critiqued Britney Spears's onstage music performance at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards.[3] Crocker, who was in tears for much of his video[4], proclaimed "All you people care about is readers and making money off of her. She's a human! Leave Britney alone!"[5]. Crocker has insisted that his emotional display was genuine, despite admitting the video was his second take.[6]
The video was one of the most watched on YouTube with some 1.5 million views in the first 24 hours of its posting.
