Catherine Keller is a French artist born in 1953 in Paris.

She's a former student from the ENSAAMA (National Superior School of Applied Arts), where she learnt sculpture and modelling from Volti.

Then she started drawing and painting, especially watercolor painting. She tries to improve this technique form her experience in plastic arts, mixing different materials and different techniques to let pigments act on their own. Some of her last watercolors are the result from this approach.

The picture frame is the accomplishement of several pieces. According to her, each of them is essential, both complementary and indivisible from the subject it accompanies.

She regulary exposes and get a reward in 2004 in Auvers-sur-Oise for her work named « Immergence ».
