I suggest this page and Do page be merged into korean provinces or something. Rather we should divide the contents into the cities and provinces of South Korea and of North Korea. Seoul Teukbyeol-si was still Teukbyeol-si, when the name Jikhal-si was used.

We need to rework this page a tiny bit. "Special City" translates Teukbyeolsi, but Gwangyeoksi is better translated as "Metropolitan City." I also created a new page--Administrative Divisions of South Korea--that summarizes the different levels of government. --Sewing 14:37, 15 Oct 2003 (UTC)

...Also, administrative divisions in North Korea seem to change quite a bit over the years. The NK table has to be revised. I added a link to the North Korea page for an up-to-date list, where there is a link to the Chosun Ilbo page I got the information from. --Sewing 15:56, 15 Oct 2003 (UTC)
