New Year's Revolution is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment . It is the first of two WWE pay-per-view events to be held during the month of January (the other being the annual Royal Rumble ). From 2005 to 2007, the event was exclusive to RAW brand.
2005
New Year's Revolution 2005 took place on January 9 2005 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico . The 2005 event was the first WWE PPV event to be held in Puerto Rico . Tickets for this event sold out in less than a month after being available for sale, marking one of the fastest selling events in the short history of the Coliseum.

New Year's Revolution 2006 took place on January 8 2006 at the Pepsi Arena in Albany, New York . The official theme song was "Stricken " by Disturbed .
2007
New Year's Revolution 2007 took place on January 7 2007 at the Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri . This was the final RAW brand exclusive PPV. The tagline was "The Revolution Continues... ".
