Norton AntiBot is a software, developed by Symantec, for the detection of bots and other malicious threats. It monitors background processes and looks for malicious beheviour.

System requirements

Free hard drive space 50 MB 50 MB

A DVD-ROM or CD-ROM drive and Internet Explorer 5.5 or above is also required for installation of Norton AntiBot.[1]

Features

Norton AntiBot monitors applications and processes running in the computer in order to detect and remove bots and malware that may be present.

The application can be used in conjunction with existing security software.

This product comes with a 15-day trial with the option of purchasing a 1-Year Product Key.

Criticisms

There has been speculation that Norton AntiBot uses a significant amount of system resources.
