BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1983, he grew up in Glen Ellyn, IL- where he attended Glenbard South High School from 1997-2001. It was during his time there that his rock band Spitalfield formed in the Fall of 1998. He attended Columbia College in Chicago, IL studying music composition for two years (2001-2002) before singing a recording contract with Spitalfield in 2003.
INFLUENCES
- His personal influences are accross the board, ranging from Dave Grohl to Peter Gabriel- and everything between.
- His solo work is often described as jazz/pop, and can be compared to the stylings of John Mayer, Ryan Adams or Howie Day.
- Spitalfield are more of a rock driven group, who can be compared to the the stylings of the Foo Fighters or Jimmy Eat World.
FUN FACTS
- Is a huge supporter of the Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox.
- Was on the Homecoming Court both his junior & senior years at Glenbard South High School.
- Younger brother, Danny Rose, occasionally plays backing trombone at his solo performances.
