Carla Brown was deleted as a repost, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Carla Brown; also see WP:BIO. NawlinWiki 00:32, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm going to withdraw my objection to the Ridge Road article; it looks like you've been busy expanding it. Thanks for your contribution, your help and your patience. With so many little articles being added each day, it's easy to jump the gun. --PMDrive1061 04:24, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wow...that was fast! Glad to see you're still here and working!  :) --PMDrive1061 04:42, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Carla Brown repost

Hi, again. Please don't mess up all your good work by insisting on the repost of an article that's been deleted before. That's really frowned upon. Here to help you. --PMDrive1061 06:03, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Of course. Generally, it's up to you the author to establish the notability of a subject. If for some reason the subject doesn't meet minimum standards for inclusion, it's deleted either by community consensus or, in the case of a reposted subject, immediately deleted by an administrator. Your subject was kind of borderline, so it was first discussed by consensus if memory serves. She's done generally accessible and verifiable work, but she isn't particularly noteworthy in her field. So, reposting it with only basic information made it a speedy deletion candidate. I'd suggest leaving word with the admin who deleted the article asking for the opportunity to do a more extensive bio and any noteworthy work she may have done. I made a lot of mistakes under my previous username; I'll continue to make them. Don't worry, have fun and feel free to ask me a question anytime you have a concern. --PMDrive1061 14:37, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My pleasure. I'm having trouble with my e-mail account. Try as I might, I can't seem to get the confirmation to come through. Internet Explorer is just acting weird, I guess. Heck, it shuts me down if I try to hit an external link in my messages. Anyway, please just leave word on the talk page if you need a hand. PMDrive1061 00:03, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Carla Brown

A tag has been placed on Carla Brown, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD A1.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Phgao 01:54, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
