EIT may be an abbreviation for:

• Economies in Transition, used to describe countries of the former Soviet bloc which are transitioning to a market economy
• Electrical impedance tomography, a medical imaging technology
• Engineer In Training, someone who has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam (the FE exam) but not yet passed the Professional Engineer exam
  • the FE exam itself; as, the EIT exam
• Extreme ultraviolet Imaging Telescope, an instrument on the SOHO spacecraft
