I have no idea about the asymmetric rhythm, but I did create a redirect from that (and asymmetrical), to this article.Hyacinth 21:50, 9 Jan 2004 (UTC)

Thanks - I should've done that myself really. I'm not sure how common the term is, but it's what I've always called those sorts of rhythms, and I've seen it used in a couple of books (only don't ask me which ones - I can't remember). --Camembert
