List of Claymore episodes
This is a list of episodes of the Claymore anime series. The episodes are directed by Hiroyuki Tanaka and produced by Madhouse Studios.[1] They are based on the Claymore manga series by Norihiro Yagi, and adapt the first through eleventh volumes of its source material over twenty-four episodes. The remaining two episodes follow an original storyline not found in the manga written by Yagi.
The episodes aired from April 2007 to September 2007 in Japan on Nippon Television.[2].
Two pieces of theme music are used for the episodes; one opening theme and one ending theme. The opening theme is "Raison d’être" (レゾンデートル, lit. Reason for being) by Nightmare. The ending theme is J-pop singer Riyu Kosaka's single, "Danzai no Hana~Guilty Sky" (断罪の花 ~Guilty Sky~, lit. Flower of Conviction~Guilty Sky). These two themes are used in all twenty-six episodes.
Three DVD compilations, each containing three episodes, have been released in Japan, with the most latest one released on August 26, 2007.[3] In addition, two limited edition sets have been released, the first containing the first two episodes, and the next five episodes in the second.[4] Three more DVD compilations, as well as three limited edition sets, are planned for release, with the third compilation set for release on November 28, 2007.[3]
