Boom Festival

The Boom Festival is a biennal festival that occurs every two years in Portugal. The festival features music, paint, sculpture, videoart, installations, cinema, theatre and a concept of crosspolination of different artforms. The first Boom Festival happened in 1997 with a large influenced on electronic music, but nowadays Boom is a multidisciplinary event.

It´s main focus seems to be developing a sustainability ethos alongside a wide array of arts and culture line up. The Boom is known worldwide for its no corporative approach on entertainment.
