West Midlands

The West Midlands refers to western central England. The name has also been used for other administrative areas:

• the West Midlands consituency of the European Parliament.
• the official government West Midlands Region
• the smaller metropolitan county of the West Midlands, containing the conurbation at the heart of the Region, centred on Birmingham.
