Ersel Hickey (June 27, 1934 in Brighton, New York - July 12, 2004 in New York City, New York) was a rockabilly singer best known for Bluebirds Over The Mountain. He also wrote songs for other artists, including The Millionaire for Jackie Wilson and A Little Bird Told Me So for LaVern Baker. According to his publicist, Hickey died after surgery to remove his bladder, and had no survivors.
