License tagging for Image:Patani.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Patani.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 14:08, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

October 2007

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Silat. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. — Indon (reply) — 08:17, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a collection of external links. Please read again. — Indon (reply) — 09:00, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Linking videos directly to YouTube has a problem with their copyrights due to unclear copyright statements in YouTube. Although there's no ban on linking to YouTube, but having random linkings to many YouTube videos in one article is really discouraged. Do you own those videos? Do you know their licenses? Do their licenses conform with Wikipedia licenses? — Indon (reply) — 09:04, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do not remove template

Please, do not remove merge template while on discussion. You don't own the article. If you do that again, you'll be blocked from editing. Thank you. — Indon (reply) — 08:46, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
