Sergio Aragones, Spanish-born American comic artist and longtime contributor to Mad Magazine. He was famous for his wordless "drawn-out dramas" appearing in the margins and between panels of the magazine, both horizontally and vertically as well as occasionally around corners.

In the 1980s he escaped from being literally marginalized with a series of comics devoted entirely to his own work. The most notable of these was cheese dip-obsessed Groo the Wanderer, for which he contributed the art and stories; dialog was handled by Mark Evanier.
