From Nothin' to Somethin' is Fabolous' fourth studio album released on June 12 2007.
Fabolous takes over the #1 spot on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts for the first time in his career and the album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, selling 159,000 copies in its first week[1] and 266,000 worldwide. The album has been cetified gold for shipments and sales. [2]
Def Jam has confirmed that the first single from the album will be "Diamonds", featuring Young Jeezy.[citation needed] The song has already started playing on local radio stations. Although one of his other songs "Make Me Better" featuring Ne-Yo was already released as a video.
Def Jam had pushed back the release date five times, starting with December 19 to February 27, then to March 23, then to April 17, next to May 18, and finally it was released on June 12 (as listed on the Def Jam Records website).
XXL ranked From Nothin' to Somethin' the eighth most anticipated album of 2007.[3]
