Shima (志摩市; -shi) is a city located in Mie Prefecture, on the island of Honshu, Japan. The city was formed on October 1, 2004 by the merger of all five towns from the former Shima District (which was dissolved by the merger).

As of 2003, the five towns that merged had an estimated population of 60,059 and the density of 334.35 persons per km². The total (merged) area is 179.63 km².
